While in high school, Yumi (Amy) Lee, (External Text), the queer daughter of Korean immigrants, writes about racism, classism, and feminism, as well as the issues of coming out. On her way to Harvard, she also discusses the Presidential Scholars program and Asian model minorities with regards to perfection and size oppression.
