Summary
Punk, grunge, goth artist Sarah's minicomics consist of stories about her friends living in a punk house, their pets, drugs, and various mishaps related to their pasts and growing up alienated in Portland, ME. Issue one includes comics about visiting her home town, including Dunkin' Donuts, her fashion sense, the derelict window in Providence, RI, and indie and punk rock, including Ween, Screwdriver, and Nirvana. In issue 4, she tells stories about her dorm life at Parsons and her psychotic roommates. There are also shorter comix that include drawing tips and life lessons. Oleksyk's style is sketchbook, with several panels on each page.
