Summary
Wild Honey Pie is a riot grrrl and feminist zine that addresses punk culture and social issues. Issue 9 is comprised of letters from fans, cereal reviews, a piece from Maniac Mike about what happens when punk gets old, an interview with Bratmobile, and the use of mercury in amalgam fillings in dentistry. Issue 10 reveals alternative abortion methods, a piece on the punk scene in Fort Myers, Florida, and interviews with punk bands The Pietasters and The Wynona Riders, and with Mark Robinson who runs Teen Beat Records. It is illustrated with photobooth photos, comics, cut and paste graphics and typewriting.
